At the 3rd Annual Postdoctoral Association Research Symposium which hosted postdocs from across many departments at TAMU for a day of professional development in networking and research presentations, two CPT postdocs attended the symposium to present posters on their work. Postdoc Justin Leavitt from the Gill lab presented “Characterization of Temperature Sensitive Mutants of Bacteriophage K” and postdoc Jolene Ramsey presented work from the Young lab entitled “Another Lysis Protein: Mu gp25 Releasin Controls SAR Endolysin Release”.
Dr. Jolene Ramsey took home the first place poster presentation award and won a signed copy of Networking for Nerds, the book by the symposium keynote speaker, for tweeting the most about the event. Congratulations to Jolene!
