Texas now has more phage research groups than any state in the country. TexasPhage2017 Symposium, organized by the Center for Phage Technology (CPT), was held on October 21-22, 2017 at the Hildebrand Equine Complex on the Texas A&M University College Station campus.
This meeting was a one-day follow-on to the Texas Branch ASM Fall Meeting, which was held on October 19-21 at the same location. The Symposium was free to ASM registrants, and only $25 for other attendees, which covers a dinner, a kolache breakfast and a takeaway box lunch for the Sunday noon departure.
